US Vice President Jay D. Vance confirmed that Donald Trump’s administration is discussing the potential provision of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. He said this in an interview with Fox News.
Vance added that providing Ukraine with Tomahawks “is a matter that will be ultimately decided by the president” of the United States, Donald Trump.
“The president will do what is in the best interests of the United States of America. That is the driving force behind his decisions on foreign policy and defense policy,” he added. The US vice president said that “we are currently negotiating this issue.”
The media previously reported that during a recent meeting with Donald Trump in New York, Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
Commenting on the information about the alleged request to Trump to provide Ukraine with Tomahawks, Zelensky said that the American leader had received a request “with details and illustrations” of everything that “Ukraine wants.”
If Tomahawk missiles are transferred to Ukraine, what will be the policy of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz regarding the transfer of German Taurus missiles?
And finally, if there is permission to strike all deep-strike weapons, then why shouldn’t the Americans transfer JASSM missiles and all other similar weapons to their Ukrainian colleagues?
