It reveals Russia’s true goal: Lavrov arrives at Alaska hotel wearing a sweater with “USSR” written on it

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived at a hotel in Anchorage, where talks between the leaders of the United States and Russia are to take place, wearing a sweater with the words “USSR” written on it.

We have spotted this on a video published by the Russian propaganda outlet Izvestia.

Lavrov got out of his car and headed to the hotel where he will be staying during the visit. Part of the inscription “USSR” is visible under his black tank top.

The Russian foreign minister revealed to an Izvestia journalist that he had previously visited Alaska.

A sweater similar to the one Lavrov wore is sold by the Russian clothing brand SelSovet, founded in 2017 in Chelyabinsk. Its price on the website is 10,990 rubles.

Obviously, the symbolism of the “USSR” indicates that Russia seeks to restore the Soviet Union 2.0 and completely seize Ukraine. Therefore, it is difficult to determine what type of agreement could be reached between the United States and Russia, given its aggressive stance.

On the eve, the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reported that Vladimir Putin is preparing “historical materials” for a meeting with the US president in Alaska to prove that Ukraine is an “artificial state.”

US President Donald Trump said that he expects Putin to take the meeting seriously, threatening “grave consequences” for Moscow if the Russian leader does not agree to take measures to end the war.

The EU stressed that regardless of the results of this meeting, Brussels is preparing a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation and will increase pressure on the Kremlin to force it to end the war.

A pro-Ukrainian rally was held in the city of Anchorage, Alaska, on the eve of the summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian ruler Vladimir Putin.
